Tonya Kunkle

I'm happy that Paul gave me the honest answers about fraud and identity theft.

Elizabeth Monroe - Detroit, MI

I have a very small nonprofit in Detroit. If it wasn't for Captain Computer's quick and knowledgeable troubleshooting, we would have lost our entire nonprofit. I am forever grateful for his prompt reply and quick service. It feels good to know that my computer can and will be serviced, no matter how old it is. Thank you!

Honest Evaluations

A premier Novi dental office had begun to accept bids to upgrade the hardware for its dental practice software. They received bids ranging from $18,000 to $32,000, which begun to set off alarm bells. They knew it was too much money. Having had a 20+ year relationship with the owner of this office, we were quickly called in for a competing bid. Upon evaluation, it was quickly discovered that all the other bids included the cost of unnecessary server equipment. Since they had purchased new servers only 2 years prior, we pointed out the 10 year life span of their servers and recommended that they keep their current equipment. We ended up doing al the necessary work for just 1/3 of the lowest competing bids

An injection mold making company in Wixom was in need of an upgrade to a network server. We were referred to them by a prototype shop in Westland who happened to be one of their vendors. The lowest bid they had received at that point was nearly $20,000! We were able to provide equipment and labor for just over 1/4 of that bid.

Reasonable Prices

Keeping It Simple

The general contractor at a job-site where we were putting in a 48 camera security system called with an emergency: The previous vendor ran several network wires across a very high ceiling in the wrong place. He wanted us to move them in order to pass inspection. This was easily worth $900 in labor. We simply pointed out that a plastic tube could cover the wires and make then attractive AND fully able to pass inspection. As a builder, he had his guys do exactly that. Just like that, Captain Computer corporate consulting had gained another customer for life.

We received a phone call from someone who said: "I'm running Quickbooks. I want to hire another person to also use it, so I need a server and a computer”. Five different vendors gave her bids from ranging between $3800 to $5400. One of the vendors pointed out: "Two people, two computers - server not needed" and ended up doing the work for only $1100. Guess who that one, lone, honest vendor was…
